Brite Flats fall into the “half round” category of strings – roundwounds that are ground down to have a smooth, flatwound-like feel with greater sustain and a brighter tone. Brite Flats receive favorable reviews, are versatile strings and seem to be preferred over the darker, deader sounding “Precision Flatwounds” from GHS.
