Lo-Riders are steel roundwounds with hex core. There is a "long-neck" variation, which is tapered. It is also available in nickel, which is more mellow.

Lo-Riders are well known for their brightness and tension. If you like a little stiffness and resistance in your strings plus a very clear, bright tone, these strings are excellent. Go for the nickel version if you like that feel but want a more mellow sound.
