Flatwounds that have stood the test of time and praised for depth, fullness, and surprising clarity for a flat. These are the strings used by James Jamerson on all the legendary Motown hits with Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, etc. as well as bassist Duck Dunn with Otis Reading.

The L-760M are a version of the Deep Talkin Bass Flatwound Strings that were used by James Jamerson on almost every legendary motown hit in the 1960s, as well as by Duck Dunn with Otis Reading.

Labella markets these strings as the "fullest, deepest flatwounds ever made." While much of the sound certainly comes from the hands of Jamerson and Dunn, their recorded output with these strings speaks for itself. They have received some of the most enthusiastic reviews I have seen on forums, and are hailed for being a flatwound string that defies the stereotype of them being "dull" or lacking in nice high end clarity.

**Be sure to check out the Bass String guide if you are unsure about the material, gauge (the numbers you see like .105 .45 etc,) or scale length.**

Check out the string reviews if you would like to hear feedback from others about a particular string.
