The Tru Bass 88 strings have plenty of thump, low register depth and low-mids to give you a deep, darker old school sound. One thing to keep in mind is that these strings are quite thick, with an E string of .115- so the potential exists that these would not fit comfortably in the nut (the piece connecting the headstock to the fingerboard, with slots for the strings to sit on) of your bass, so it is worth asking your manufacturer or someone who would know- a local guitar shop for instance.
As is common for nylon strings, the tension is on the low side, and the strings are soft and easy on your fingers.
